Perhaps, but I think the Republicans take it too far. We all live in this society together. The Republicans, all too often in my view, do what's right for the wealth creators at the expense of everyone else. Like their recent change to the environmental regulations to get rid of the requirement that old power plants must upgrade their air cleaning equipment when they make major modifications to the plant. Or, like this new proposal to do away with the longstanding tradition of time and a half overtime. Both of these changes are great if you're a big business and/or wealthy, but bad for the rest of society. There needs to be more of a balance. There's more to life then money IMO. That's why I favor the Democratic approach. They seem more concerned with taking care of everyone's needs, not just the needs of wealthy shareholders who already have more money then they know what to do with.
