7 billion shares out is absurd. They will never be able to have a rational number of shares. It's far too late.

Think of csco as a refrigerator co; when the existing one breaks, fix it or replace it. That's what it is leading to.

None of the voracious consumers of csco's products in the bubble days ended up much better for it; They're all in the toilet these days, so the tired argument that "they have to upgrade" is long gone.
