Do you really believe that, Lizzie? I don't. If Cisco stopped issuing options and bumped up their salaries by 10%, I think you'd have VERY few of the top 10% leave. I think Cisco would suffer no adverse consequences and shareholders would benefit tremendously, including current employee option holders. Silicon Valley has sold everyone in the U.S. this bill of goods that says that without options the Valley will die. That's a bunch of hooey. Sometimes I wonder where this culture in the U.S. of pushing off accountability came from. It's getting pretty ridiculous.
