I think it accomplished a lot.

We've finished Saddam which needed to be done. I realize at one point we armed him and clearly that was wrong. This was probably the only way to even come close to righting that wrong. We should have gone all the way in 1991 but we didn't have the UN authorization. It would have been better then to say screw the UN and go all the way but we can't change it now.

We've also taken out some terrorists and other regime bums.

We've also established a quick strike capability in the region that will make responses to terror cells swift

We've spent a lot of money and I'd make sure that was paid back with oil over the next 20 years.

We've rattled the other countries in the region as well. This is a scared straight type of deal. Either they go straight or we can show them pictures of what happens to those who don't

This war was quite necessary and will be viewed as a historic positive 20 years from now
