Of course it was, Kumar. NK would have held out if China had not joined us. But China joined us because we made them see it was in their best self interest to do so. They did not a Nuke NK, or us taking out NK and SK on the Yalu. Plus they did not want Japan going to Nukes. All around, it made sense for China to take the lead, which we needed to get out of the blackmail situation we have been involved in since Carter made NK a deal. The NKs finally realized they could not bluff this Admin.
