As Holmes said, "experience, not logic, is the life of the law"-- >>Good point about how conservative Iomega's management team is. They certainly wouldn't be pursuing a lawsuit if they didn't think they would win.<< Uh-huh. And they certainly wouldn't sell Jaz cartridges if they didn't think they were free of defects. What Iomega's management thinks of its case has no bearing at all on the merits of the case or who will win. Any lawyer can tell you horror stories about plaintiffs who aggressively filed suit, only to lose their case and be skewered with sanctions or a successful counterclaim by the defendant.
