Sapiens Awarded $8.5 Million Year 2000 Project By Leading US Health
Care Insurer

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 1, 1997-- Sapiens International Corporation
(NASDAQ:SPNSF) today announced that a leading US health care insurer has retained Sapiens to make its systems year
2000 compliant. The project which is valued at approximately $8.5 million, involves the review and remediation of an
estimated 6 million lines of code over the course of one year. Sapiens will first convert a pilot project valued at $1.4 million,
and upon satisfactory completion of the pilot project, will perform the remainder of the year 2000 conversion project. Sapiens
will deploy its unique FALCON 2000 Assembler analysis and conversion tool to remediate an estimated 400,000 lines of
Assembler code at Sapiens' internal year 2000 factory.

Ms. Monica Wooden, Senior Vice President, North America of Sapiens International, added: ``Our core skills allow us to
compete nicely in the Y2000 market. In this situation we competed with the best and won; now we will deliver - on time.''
