EMC only met revenue expectations (almost exactly) yesterday. They exceeded EPS expectations of one penny by one penny. On an operating basis, they only earned a penny, the other penny was interest income.

EMC is much more scary than Sun if you ask me - sky high valuation for a company barely breaking even and that needs revenue growth to show significant improvement in profitabiltiy. If revenues come, fine, but if not, it shouldn't hold 3x sales valuation for a long time.
