heard from guy in finance world: Ford has 30% defaults their car loan business is approaching bankruptcy he didnt think Ford would survive thru 2004 all those 0% rate/ 0% down loans to people barely employed showing insecure income has now come back to haunt the firm they didnt make any money on the sales now they are losing money on the loans they have $18 in debt for every $1 in mktcap they have enough cash for only a few months of debt service now they announced a 17% cutback in production TOO LITTLE, TOO LATE, DEATH KNELL AROUND THE CORNER caskets are lined up in the basement corridors Ford's bankruptcy will shake up the entire US Economic world / jim
