In March 2003, AO MOSENERGO generated more electricity and heat than in 2002

Last month, AO MOSENEGO power stations generated 7,194.7 mln kWt-h. This is 14% more than in March 2002.

AO MOSENERGO increased heat generation by 17%, producing 9,699.5 GCal of heat.

In 2003, the company increased electricity and heat generation due to technical requirements and colder weather. Last year AO MOSENERGO unloaded its capacities in accordance with the Central Dispatch instructions. In March 2003, air temperatures were 4.8°Ñ lower than in March last year. The average air temperature in March 2002 reached 2.2°Ñ above zero. This year it was 2.6°Ñ below zero.
