Additoinally, I would say that predicting inflation for the coming decade is right near impossible.

Predicting inflation precisely is impossible but there are forces that will keep it in a fairly predictable range including Federal reserve policy, currency markets, interest rate markets and competitive forces both domestic and foreign.

If economic growth is high and inflation low, then you're right, it is unrealistic.

Which is precisely what my forecast includes - a period of about 3 years of 5% real GDP growth to bring the economy back to full employment and then 3 1/2 to 4% growth thereafter given 1% labor force growth and 2 1/2 to 3% productivity gains once full employment is reached. When this self-reinforcing recovery will begin in earnest is still up for debate given recent economic releases, but it will happen IMO.
