I remember so vividly in aug 87....prechter wrote...":I give the odds of a crash here 10%"....then after the crash he came out with this gem........"I give the odds of the dow ever seeing 2700 again in our life times 10% and in the unlikely event that it does the euphoria would be so high the market will surely crash.".......then years later in a barrons interview....he stated unequivically...."If the dow ever exceeded 4000 then it would prove that I didnt know what i was talking about and nobody shud pay attention to me again."......sigh
