About the author: Geoffrey Neale is national chair of the Washington, DC-based Libertarian Party. Cheers to the Libertarians. I rarely agree with their scorched earth policy when it comes to reducing the size of government. But, I think they're right on when it comes to foreign policy and matters of military affairs. Libertarians are certainly one bright beacon of rationality in an increasingly irrational and militaristic society.
