TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--August 1, 1997--WARP 10 TECHNOLOGIES INC. (NASDAQ: WARPF), (CDN: WARP) today announced the signing of a reseller agreement with Unisource Graphic Arts under which Unisource Graphic Arts will serve as a non-exclusive representative of Warp10 in Canada. Unisource Graphic Arts will market and license Warp10 products to its customers in the printing, publishing and business imaging industries. Unisource Graphic Arts is a division of Unisource Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: UWW), the largest marketer and distributor of paper products and supply systems in North America with over $7 billion in revenues in fiscal 1996. In addition, Warp 10 announced today the signing of a reseller agreement with The Publishing Group under which The Publishing Group will serve as non-exclusive representative of Warp10 in the United States. The Publishing Group will market and license Warp10 products to its digital prepress customers. The Publishing Group is a value-added reseller for such vendors as Apple Computers, Hewlett-Packard, Compaq, Imation and Tektronix. Warp10 has available System Accelerator, a software solution that compresses images by up to 90%, thereby dramatically improving the speed and volume of digital assets moving through a communications network. In addition, the Company is developing WarpRes, an imaging technology that reduces download time and storage requirements of image files, and a digital asset management system that will allow users to store, retrieve and view digital video, audio, images and text files.
