Hi Richard,

I am sorry to hear you needed a by-pass, but I am sure glad to hear you are up and at it again and out there getting the miles again. I am a firm believer that a person can overcome internal physical things through hard work and sheer will power. A person's mind is the most powerful healing mechanism there is.

I also think that the mind can overcome negative external issues as well, the power of positive thinking.. :)

Here I go again. Rambling on off topic.. :)

I envy you to be over in Kenya at the beginning of their running dynasty. I think something like that can build national self-esteem for the overall betterment of the society. Actually sports in general has a lot of societal benefits as it has brought so many people together. It does that to an individual too. I think the so-called "runner's high" is just a super-awareness of things. A person becomes "one" with everything..

Drat, here I go again. I better quit. <g>. Have a nice evening.. :)
