All you Bushie nitwits cut the BS about "liberals".

First of all, almost everyone in the country has moved beyond old-style liberalism a decade or two ago. Remember Clinton? He moved squarely to the middle. He did not make very many liberals happy. He had Dick Morris fighting liberals tooth and nail. Gore was attacked by Nader for being no better than Bush. Or would you rather ignore that reality? And Gore-Lieberman were sure moderates. Lieberman is quite conservative in fact on most issues. Gore's defense budget was bigger than Bush's.

Second, the few in this country who are old-style liberals are often very religious, patriotic people. Some of them are even very tough people, including quite a few vets.

Listening to the right-wing liars you'd think there's some huge communist uprising, and that anyone criticizing Bush is in league with these "commies". It's all such a big fat lie. I think the US communist party has about 10,000 people in it, so who cares about them? And I can also tell you, the libeals I know are very much capitalists. Some of them are even very-very rich from business enterprises. And that's not very communist, is it?

Also, liberals may be right or wrong on various issues, but have 100% right to safely express their opinions with a degree of respect. They are not traitors or anti-American. They're just anti-Bush right-wing and on that I (a moderate) agree with them.

Bush is a very poor president. He is the worst economic and environmental president in our history. He lies constantly and rewards special interests while socking it to the middleclass, women, kids, old people, minorities, workers and the poor. That is enough for me to pledge to fight to replace him. And not with a liberal but a common sense moderate who's fair and can unite most Americans, to rebuild our country post-wars toward peace and prosperity.

The non-stop right-wing attacks on the minority of "liberals" are tacitly dishonest, laughably inaccurate, wholly exaggerated and reek of wicked diversive propaganda. When the right-wingers call liberals "evil", that is really a crime against religion and democracy. Because what they're really trying to do is intimidate people into accepting a far right one-party rule, one step toward a dictatorship. And most churches have protested the Bush regime's war, thereby making the Christiabn majority in this country "evil" in the eyes of the right-wing. Only yhe Southern Baptists and Mormons are worthy of "God".

It's just an attempt by the RNC to tar anything left of Bush who is presently governing from the far-right. It's also an attempt to divert moderates' attention from the many failures of the Bush administration and make war the only issue. That's why they fear war hero Kerry so much, because he can take that issue away.

But guess what? Even if not a single liberal voted for Kerry, he could still beat Bush. Moderates are the majority and Bush isn't one. So in 2004, we'll see how much "liberals" matter. Bush can be beaten by moderates alone. About 50% of the voters. 35% are die-hard Buishies now. And about 15% liberals or libertarians.

So Bushies should quit back-stabbing moderates and wasting everyone's time obsessing and lying about mythical "liberals". They should instead get down to the difficult and complex business of trying to fix our many-many problems. The right-wing spin cycle has gone on way too long. It's very tiresome. And it does our country not a bit of good. In fact, it does our nation harm.
