Living in the lap of luxury........ plus more on poverty & oppression It's useful to remember Marcos in the Phillipines, long a good friend and close ally. The Shah in Iran. Batista in Cuba. This is another card that shouldn't be overplayed. How well does Mr. Bush live, while in slums around Washington children go hungry and people are unable to afford medical treatment? I'm not saying the the two are equivalent by any means, only cautioning again that the world we live in, the world we make, isn't black and white. WUWT
