here is few things to compare it to
1) Original Marshall plan of $13B with interest would be close $750B In addition European economy is subsidized via trade deficit - US/France trade deficit alone is 10B/year.

France, not a full member of NATO and the country that is down right hostile to US, cost US so much that all money spent on Israel could qualify as a rounding error.
