in addition to all you said, it is a pretty interesting day in government when you have senior foreign service officers and the president's own cultural advisors turning in their resignations in protest in the last six months, a coup d'etat at treasury while the secretary is on the road, a defense secretary commenting repeatedly on matters of state, etc etc etc etc etc etc. all that at the political top, while meanwhile, the date rape on wallstreet continues unabated... here's a little promise of ectasy, and while the punter ain't looking, here's a little stab in the back where the sun doesn't shine.
