(2) Clearly, you can take snapshots throughout the process and find some Iraqis who are unhappy. When all is said and done there is little question these people will know and appreciate their liberators.

At this instant, these people have so much uncertainty in their lives there are undoubtedly some who are dissatisfied. I note the article didn't mention any who were wanting Saddam to come back, however.

The reality is that there is a huge power vaccuum and we have to fill it for the time being.

I think you're not so naive as to think these people prefer to go back like it was.
