I try to listen to every one (as long as they aren't too bombastic -- JT surely isn't) ... somtimes it's harder with those who have a diametrically opposite view on certain matters, but even though I am very bearish on the prospects for a recovery -- I like to look at the arguments from the other side. JT and even Noland @ Prudent Bear observe the same thing on credit spreads -- they've really come in.

Short term, I pay attention to this -- i.e. reflation trade and all.

Of course, we differ on where things are going longer term.

I suppose if being wrong for an extended period of time were a basis not to listen to someone -- many would not listen to me. Hopefully, as I get older I stay in mistakes and / or retain demonstrably bad biases for shorter periods of time. At least that's the hope.
