An addendum to that report. I just heard on the radio that that Shiite gathering, which was estimated to be 39,000 people, was proclaiming, "Now we have freedom! The next thing we have to do is get rid of alcohol, close down the nightclubs, get our women to cover up, and get rid of the Americans!"

These sentiments were greeted with wild acclamation.

It has a Saturday Night Live feel to it.
