I agree that it is fruitless to take an snapshot in history and say, "This land is mine." Jews have lived in the land comprising Israel from at least the times Arabs have lived there. By definition which all 3 faiths believe Abraham was a Jew, from which Christianity and Islam became offshoots.

I really don't think any of that is important nonetheless.

The bottom line is that we will not be getting on boats and leaving our homes to the Native Americans. The bottom line is that Israel exists as a haven against future Holocausts. The American people supports Israel. It really has very little to do with Bible studies and whose god is the real one.

Religious propagandists come down on their side of the argument with all type of stuff. BOttom line again, there aint' one god for me and one for you. It's all a name and people create those names.

Unfortunately, hatred and bigotry causes people to seek safe havens. Israel will survive.
