Well I did read during the early part of the war(if you can call it that)that a US delegation travelled from Syria to Baghdad, and then at a point when I thought Saddam would have torched the oil fields, he didn't. Seemed like a backroom deal to save his ass. I wonder how many million he took out of the country when or before he left. Who ever takes him in, will be at a hefty price I should think.
