we must attempt to influence the constitutional process to the extent that the only recognized political parties permitted to exist in Iraq are those who pay allegiance to the constitution and democratic system, not merely use the system to create their own non-democratic government. I disagree. It is not our land (unless we want to build an empire). The people of Iraq are capable of choosing what style of government they want. If it turns out to be different from Jefforsonian Democracy - so be it. The people of Iraq have spoken.
