If this is a true intermediate trend reversal wouldn't you expect both vix and vxn to decline and certainly to decline further? A key to note is what happens to the market once it has its 200, or 300 point or whatever decline that serves to shake investor confidence. If the market rallies after that, the intermediate bottom is in imo. If the market continues with that decline watch out. But it wouldn't surprise me if we have a really big pop before the decline. Basically, I think the probabilities favor the March tops being taken out before the lows are broken. LR
