No FASB model is going to alleviate the Real problem.

I believe expensing stock options per a new FASB rule will likely have the impact of holding options issuance to reasonable levels at most companies, which I view as "the Real problem"---at least with regard to stock options. What do you view as "the Real problem"? When expenses are not recognized as an expense, they tend to run out of control; when they are recognized as an expense and accounted for, expenses tend to be managed better.
