If that is the case, you were certainly asking the wrong question.

Of course we can learn from the Brits. We have been running mutually beneficial joint training exercises at all levels for all 41 years I have been around the US Army.

Generally speaking, IMO American tactics are more aggressive than the Brits. The first I came aware of that was in WWII battle studies. It is not true across the board. The Brit 22nd SAS for example can be extraordinarily brutal. But I am sure the Brit press considers it appropriate force for the situation when they are.
