This is complete and utter rubbish and you should know better if you believe this:
This war has nothing to do woth the strength of the US dollar vs the Euro. The war was a distraction aimed and igniting US patriotism and getting the public spending again. I doubt this will work and I'm POSITIVE that the US dollar will continue heading south and that the Euro and Canadian dollar and, for that matter, most of the currencies of the world will appreciate against the USA dollar in the next few months sending it painfully lower.

As things return to normal and the USA finds itself bogged down in yet another no win situation with daily "terrorist" attacks against them in Iraq, the worlds confidence in the USA will continue plummeting as it has been fundamentally in the past year or so. This is not going to stop simply becuase the USA has more bombs than some other insignificant powerless country. That said, let the USA pick a battle with someone who has muchmore power than Iraq...say China, Russia, Iran, N Korea, Indonesia...I mean this is a joke. The USA can't win against any of those countries and the jury is still out on whether it has won anything significant in Iraq except to rid the world of a BIG asshole ( Saddam ) and some other big mouths. It is obvious that the USA has paid a MONSTEROUS price in Europe and around the world. Yes the world is stunned ( shouldn't be ) by the brut force used but the USA has lost many friends in the process. It cannot strongarm peoples opinions and it had better be careful with France and Germany. Europeans do business with those countries and they are much much more important than doing business with the USA, an economy that is crumbling. People who like to slam France are going to find that they could be a major stumbling block to America's efforts to colonize the world.

in 6 months the USA dollar will lose another 5% against the Euro and the Euro and the USA dollar will be used for oil settlements. Indonesia has already switched to the Euro and there is no way that the USA can tell the Indonesians otherwise and the USA is simply not strong enough militarily to even touch Indonesia.
