In it's history the United States has been in Okinawa, Cuba, Philipines, France, Germany, Afghanistan, Panama, Grenada, Haiti, Japan, Italy, Sicily, North Africa and another dozen or so places and we have never stayed to rule a single one of those countries.
You accuse me of being naive? I have history on my side.
What is naive is to mindlessly repeat the Euro-leftist party line that the United States is imperialistic and is out to rule the world.
