Raymond,

So anotherwards, we are easy to manipulate because we went to war with Iraq. I could just as easily suggest that those people in America who were against the war were duped and easy to manipulate.

For myself I don't drone anybody's party line. I see ample justification for our actions.

There were terror camps discovered in Northern Iraq. We did capture Abu Abbas and we do know that Hussein was paying the families of suicide bombers $25K .

We know he had a history of nuclear, chemical and biological weapons manufacturing and the issue of whether or not he still has them remains a strong possibility.

We know he had a history of using chemical weapons. He used them on the Kurds. He used them on the Iranians.

We know he ran his country like Stalin ran the USSR. He had secret police, torture chambers, paramilitary goon-squads. He stifled dissent, treated Shiites and Kurds like cow fodder and even prevented practice of ritual Shiite relgious practices.

The concern was not that he helped plan 911 with bin Laden. Nobody believes that. The fear is that he controlled a sovereign state with considerable wealth and had ample motivation to strike at us or his neigbors or encourage terrorists to do so.

What is you don't understand?
