So there's differences between apples and pears after all?

btw >>...Pope John Paul was plenty outspoken against the oppression of Eastern Europe under the Soviets. But seems perfectly content to leave Iraqis under dictatorship.<< The cold war is apples and the Iraq 03 campaign is oranges.

Anyhow, let's all wait and see, when we all will be able to say people of Iraq have been liberated - let's say to a remotely similar degree as Poland. This is what evidently matters now - forget all those OBLs and WMDs etc.

Of course, the point applies to Afganistan as well ... a post-it with a short-list of this kind of commitments would be handy.
