You choose to judge a religion by fringe commentaries from 1000's of years ago.

Yet, you refuse to accept modern day teachings of Pedophile Priests as representative commentary of Catholicism.

I refuse to judge any religion or group of people by a few fringe nuts. I don't condemn Catholicism because of pedophile priests or nazi Jim.
