The feds or the states would not dare go into any neighborhood of any American city and tell the people what's best for their neighborhood and give them the choice of joining in or being excluded, and yet, you want us to do that on the world scene.

The Iraqi people, in large part, fully understand they require our help in getting a new government established. We have lost the propaganda war for now, with Al Jazeerra and every other Arab news agency bashing us; but this will come to an end soon as we establish a free media in the region.

Excuse me but you're changing the subject here. My analogy was about telling the UN and our allies what to do.....giving them the choice of joining us or nothing. And the analogy still stands.....we would never think of telling people what to do in our cities; we learned better from the '60s but even so, we still are trying to tell the world and more importantly our allies how its going to be and you're surprised they're not kissing our feet.

I haven't heard anything about it, but I would find it shocking if we do not get pro-American TV broadcasts to cover the entire region within a few months.

What's shocking is that you really believe this shit.

In a few months, if there are pro American broadcasts on al Jazeera and other relatively free Arab media outlets, then I will not bring up the subject again.
