We let the hospitals get looted?

The southern oil fields were south of the cities and were secured early on. it took 2 weeks to secure Basra and 3 weeks to secure Baghdad.

You or perhaps the Iraqi people would prefer that maybe 300-400 fires be burning in Iraq right now in addition to the improving humanitarian issues? It is doubtful that the Iraqis would.

In 30 days when life has returned to some level of normalcy, I would bet that the Iraqis would prefer to have some ability to do business with the world. Oil seems to be the best bet right now.

btw, you insinuated that the Iraqis resent having been invaded and having lost their sovereignty. what did you mean and what would you have preferred have happen?
