I agree with you that Vix is a good indicator to watch. I keep an eye on it as well. Of course, no one indicator is correct all the time so it is a good idea to watch lots of indicators. In fact, from what I can tell no series of indicators or model is correct all the time. With that in mind, I agree with your comment that the stage is set for a rude awakening........and hopefully it won't be us that get the rude awakening(g). But you never know for sure. Tom
