Whats the big deal? The point was that options are less and less valuable as the bubble becomes a more distant memory. Its not like dispelling 98/99 as the threshold year for the turn really invalidates my point or anything, at least not to me... maybe to you, and thats fine- but its not like I'm trying to make a point about 98/99. All I'm trying to point out is that as Cisco's star has fallen so have the value of people's outstanding options. We know the grants from the late 90s onward are worthless. All I don't know is how much residual still exists from the early 90s when grants were effectively less than $1. Those folks still have value, but I bet they wish they had unloaded all they could 3 years ago.
