Mortality rate about 7% [some infected have not yet died but will].

I think they are going to win against this bug, albeit at some cost. From now on, people will NOT be thought of as tough for going to work with sniffles. Sickies will be the norm. People with coughs, colds and dreaded lurgy will be persona non-grata.

All bugs are going to have a tougher time of staying in business, despite the biggest intermingled human population ever. 6 billion bodies just waiting to be infected. What a temptation. Lucky that bugs are really low IQ and have to depend on luck to make the grade.
