Again, understanding local context is everything. Muslims in that area have suffered severe and extended repression from the predominantly Christian government for many years. Large tracts of land have been snatched by Christian settlers. The long-simmering rebellion has been greeted by brutal human rights abuses by Government troops and "Christian" vigilantes. There have been many atrocities on both sides.

None of this makes it "right" to throw grenades at missionaries. All I'm trying to say here is that it is really, really, stupid to stand up in this environment and declare that "Allah is a liar".

Right or wrong, there are places in the world where stupidity can be a terminal disease, and those who die of it have to bear some responsibility for the consequences of their actions.
