Mexico has had very funny term limits, just as funny as the "term limit"-people north of the
border have suggested.

However, no reason to go into the history of Mexican democracy, landreforms and the Texas Rangers
as well as assasinations.

That is, the talk of "term limits" north of the border is mainly a sign of another dysfunctional
political and media system, with the political leaders and the elite who just do not want
to upset the "term-limit" masses too much.

The public debate might quickly turn into "term limits as in Mexico" which would not be very
constructive for either one.
