This is the War of Order against Disorder. Order is necessary for continued globalization, which America does benefit from. Order cannot be imposed by one nation, no matter how strong that nation is, and any attempt to create order in this way can ultimately lead only to greater disorder. If we ever want to win a war of order against disorder, a functioning system of multilateral dispute resolution will have to be created. I'm not sure that unilateralism advances this cause.
