In the Fibonacci sequence (1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34...), each number is derived by summing the 2 previous numbers. As one progresses along in the sequence, the ratio of each number to its immediate predecessor approaches 1.618 (or 1/.618). Interestingly, this holds true for a sequence started with any 2 random numbers (and then continued according to the original rule). For example: 6,13,19,32,51,83,134...
