Iraq war upgraded from "hot potato" to "red hot brick" and dropped accordingly.

The telegraph has captured Iraqi talking in "Breaking News" section (breaking wind more like... pb)..

Developments at a glance
(Filed: 21/04/2003)

General Jay Garner, the retired US general who is overseeing Iraq's reconstruction after the toppling of Saddam Hussein's regime, has arrived in the Iraqi capital. He said his priority was to restore basic services such as water and electricity "as soon as we can". His initial team of about 19 civilian administrators is to grow to about 450 over the next week.

A scientist who claimed to have worked in Saddam Hussein's chemical weapons programme for more than a decade has told US officials that Iraq destroyed chemical weapons and biological warfare equipment only days before the war began.

Tony Blair has faced fresh conflict with Labour MPs as coalition forces prepared to announce an end to the Iraq war. He has been is confronted by uneasy questions about the whereabouts of Saddam Hussein's missing arsenal of weapons of mass destruction along with more wrangling at the United Nations.

Sounds to me as if Tony Blair has a large section of intelligence officers he needs to float down the river. He almost certainly will be shown to be Bushes "lapdog", set up by the Americans, and face humiliation in any election as things stand imho.

There better be something more convincing that the war was worthwhile. Even if it's planted evidence. Couldn't be a worse sham right now.

Unless SF's do really know the score and a lid is being kept on the information for some reason. It still sounds a bit daft though.
