Mike, I have an important question.
My wife has a 401K at work. 100% of the money
is in a Balanced Fund. (60% bonds & 40% S&P 500
Index Fund) She wants to transfer all of the
money into various stock funds. The choices
they give her are:
Fidelity Growth & Inc.
Fidelity Magellan
Fidelity Low Priced Stock
Janus Fund
Mutual Shares
Vanguard Index Total Mkt.
T. Rowe Price Int'l Stock
Pimco Total Return (bonds)
The questions are: WHEN should she make the
transfer and WHAT funds she should choose.
I would appreciate your suggestions as I
know you will be objective. Don't worry, I
won't hunt you down if she winds up in the
poor house.
If anyone else would like to contribute,
please feel free to do so.
I will be looking forward to your comments
when I return from work tonight.
Thanks
Jim
