Ah-- just saw your new post- and it seems you ARE addressing the issue about being manipulated. I see what you are saying now. I really cringed over what I saw as manipulation- the labeling and the religious overtones that crept into the war rhetoric, the extreme "with us or against us" positioning that pervaded the leading up to our actions.

But isn't it our personal responsibility to not accept this? NOT to believe automatically in what we are told, but to recognize and ignore the emotional manipulation, and do our own evaluating? Read, research, think? And then to respond logically, not with our own labels and anger?
