I use WOW, so I can't help you with the Metastock formulas.

Metastock does have a site for formulas:

Dahl's Primary Trend is one of the formulas that comes with WOW (I don't know whether it comes with Metastock). BBB is Richard's scan. In WOW, it's:

c-(ref(c,-5))>(.05*(ref(c,-5))) and
v>mov(v,63,s) and
c>(.85*hhv(c,250))
