Before the war, you were rabid about it being wrong and bad. When it started, you "supported the troops". I imagine that if you were pro-life (today), you could still support the doctors that do the abortions, and since you are anti-oil drilling (unless you changed your mind in the last few days), you can still support the guys that drill the holes. This all makes total sense to you, right?
Now the Iraq campaign is winding down and you've been behind it all the way! Go USA! "Any" president would have done the same thing! The transition to an independent government in Iraq was going to fail miserably two weeks ago, but now it's a "mop up", and your plan for the future is for the United States to "make peace in Israel" (forgive me for laughing at the irony of your generalization), "get the hell out of there", get "off Arab oil", (possibly a sensible long-term goal but your plan appears to lack some specificity) and now "we" need "our" money to "fix problems at home", (whose money are "we" talking about, exactly?) "Our" money should not include "major tax breaks" for the rich because that will keep "us" mired (excellent economic analysis indeed!).

I do, however, applaud your post, it is the single most insane combination of fallacies, generalities, media buzz words, and nonsensical prattle I've ever seen you produce. The only thing you left out is "Kerry will fix it all, I guarantee it." If Kerry knew you supported him publicly, he would RUN AWAY from you, you realize that, right? |
