Apropos of that, I've just read "War on Iraq" by Wm Rivers Pitt given to me over the holiday. A little 95pg book, including an interview with Scott Ritter. It's a concise history of the idiocy of US v. Iraq and accurate prediction from 2002 of what is happening now post-war, and why more bloodshed is unavoidable.

It's clear why Ritter's been even further demonized since that book. The so-called "Saddam's Bomb-Maker" Hamza, and also the head of UNSCOM Richard Butler have consistently refused to debate Ritter, because he has patiently collected clear documented evidence they are both lying, and in Hamza's case is presenting what is now admitted to be complete forgeries in his book and in front of Congress.
