About the French nuclear reactor -

On the PBS program "Avoiding Armageddon" the reported that it was the French who gave the Israeli's all the intel on Saddam's nuclear program - location, security etc. Clearly they did not want credit for making Saddam a nuclear threat.
...Which probably explains why you haven't heard anyone in the administration castigate the French for selling that reactor.

As for the WMD - don't count your chickens quite yet. One of the problems with the US intelligence gathering is that they tend to favor people who tell them what they want to hear.
...Case in point - the Al Qaida poison factory in Northern Iraq that was working for Saddam. You know - the one that was giving guided tours to the Western press two days later. The one that was battling with the Kurds who subsequently told the US so that we would take them out.

FYI - you will know it is real if the US asks Blix and Co. to come in and inspect the site.

(Weekend joke - it appears that the Bush administration will be continuing Saddam's policy of obstructing UNMOVIC whenever possible.)
