An analyst who closely tracks AVGN is confident they will do a major partnership by year-end. I spoke to him at a recent biotech conference and, given the low stock price, he thought it presented an excellent risk/reward ratio.
My own view is they just have too much cash for the stock to go much lower. And people who are knowledgeable about gene therapy have told me the company's intellectual property should definitely be worth something to another company.
